  • NS Jelena is a new, early maturing NS alfalfa cultivar, characterized by rapid
    regrowth after cutting.
  • High dry matter yield (20-25 t/ha).
  • Intended for growing on light and medium heavy soils, drought tolerant.
  • Optimal number of cuttings is 5-6 per year.
  • Suitable for intensive agriculture.
  • Stable yields with excellent quality (20-22% proteins at the moment of cutting).

  • It is an adaptable and stable cultivar, the most widespread in Serbia.

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • This is a cultivar of high green forage yields (85-100 t/ha) and hay yields (18-20 t/ha)
    of excellent quality (21% of proteins in the hay), tolerant to intensive agriculture.
  • It has an increased level of tolerance to drought, winter hardiness and lodging.
  • Early cultivar with a fast initial growth after cutting, extremely high yielding on light
    and medium-heavy soils.

  • This is a cultivar characterized by good production traits on heavier hydromorphic soils,

RED CLOVER

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • This is a medium early cultivar of red clover, suitable for growing in grass-clover mixture
    on less fertile, humid and acidic soils.
  • Good branching and leafiness cause high quality and yields of forage.
  • Maximum yield of fresh mass (70-95 t/ha) and hay (15-17 t/ha) is achieved in the second
    year from 3-4 cuts, while in the third year the total fresh mass yield from two cuts is
  • Excellent quality; proportion of leaves in yield at the beginning of flowering is up to 55%
    (18.5% of proteins in hay).

SPRING FIELD PEA

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • New cultivar of spring protein pea used for grain production.
  • Vegetation period 80-85 days.
  • Minimal lodging, stem height 50-70 cm, aphyllous leaf with white flowers.
  • Grain yield 4.5-5.5 t/ha with 25% of crude protein.
  • Minimum content of anti-nutritional components – thermal processing of grain
    not needed.

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • Cultivar of spring pea intended for mixed use - fodder (forage) and grain.
  • Characterized by high genetic potential: green forage yield 30-50 t/ha and
    grain 2.5-5.0 t/ha.
  • Crude protein content in dry matter of forage is 19-21%, and 28% in grain.
  • The content of anti-nutritive matters in grain is minimal - heat treatment of grain
    is not required.
  • This is the most widely produced cultivar of spring pea.

SPRING VETCH

MAX YIELD: 50 t/ha

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • This is a spring common vetch cultivar of high forage quality and yield.
  • Cultivar is intended for production of fresh mass, hay, silage and haylage,
    intercropped with oats.
  • The yield of fresh mass is 40-50 t/ha and hay 8-10 t/ha.
  • Forage is of excellent for feeding ruminants.

WINTER FORAGE PEA

MAX YIELD: 60 t/ha

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • Cultivar can be used as green forage, hay, silage, dehydrated food, as well as
    for green manure.
  • Kosmaj achieves high yields of green forage (40-60 t/ha) or 8-11 t/ha of hay,
    balanced and of excellent quality, with 18-22% of crude proteins in dry matter.
  • Very resistant to low temperatures and frost.

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • This cultivar of winter forage pea is intended for production of forage with
    very high winter hardiness.
  • It is suitable for growing as a pure stand and in a mix with small grains.
  • The yield of green forage is 40-50 t/ha and 8-10 t/ha of hay.

FORAGE SORGHUM

MAX YIELD: 100 t/ha

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • The cultivar was developed by crossing forage sorghum and sudan grass.
  • Average green forage yield is 70 t/ha, up to 100 t/ha under irrigation.
  • Characterised by good tillering, regeneration (3 cuts per year) and resistance to drought
    and the prevailing sorghum diseases (smut and reddening).
  • It is an excellent carbohydrate and energy feed, with an average content of crude fibre
    42% and sugar 42%, excellent as feed, as well as for the production of silage with
    biodigester.

HYBRID DESCRIPTION
  • Sweet sorghum hybrid, long vegetation period and high yields of green fodder and
    silage, suitable for late cutting and silaging.
  • Resistant to most economically important diseases.
  • Succulent stem during vegetative growth, excellent for silage preparation in biodigesters
    for biogas production.

SUDAN GRASS

MAX YIELD: 100 t/ha

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION
  • The most widespread cultivar of Sudan grass intended for the production of green
    forage and hay.
  • It is characterized by good tillering and excellent regeneration, which is ensured by 3-4
    cuts per year, as well as by possible sowing in more than one term.
  • Yield of green forage is 80-100 t/ha and up to 20 t/ha of hay.
  • Intended for fresh use.
  • Should be sown with 25-30 kg/ha of seeds at row spacing of 25 cm, or at 12.5 cm with
    35-40 kg/ha of seeds for hay sowing.

FORAGE KALE

  • New, early maturing forage kale cultivar, with a high green fodder yield potential.
  • Used as a feed resource, primarily for ruminants.

  • Green fodder yield of 50-80 t/ha, depending on the sowing date.
