Dr. Ana Marjanović Jeromela, Senior Research Associate. She was born in Belgrade in 1970, received her PhD in 2005 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad, in the field of Genetics and Plant Breeding. She started working at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in 1996, and received specialist training at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany, where she stayed as DAAD Scholarship holder during 1997-1998. Her field of expertise is oil crops genetics and breeding, with particular focus on rapeseed. She co-authored 14 oil crop cultivars. She authored or co-authored over 150 research and technical papers. She was appointed Member of the Division for Natural Sciences of Matica Srpska. She is a member of the Presidency of the Serbian Association of Institutes and Work Group for Research and Development of the European Seed Association. She has been coordinating a national project for the period 2011-2014. She has been editor-in-chief of the journal “Ratarstvo i Povrtarstvo” since 2010. She served as Assistant Director for Science in the period 2010-2013, after which she was appointed Head of Rapeseed Division at the Oil Crops Department.
