Program Interreg IPA of cross-border collaboration between Croatia – Serbia 2014-2020 is the new collaboration program intended for implementation during fiscal years 2014-2020.
The general aim of Interreg IPA Croatia – Serbia 2014-2020 collaboration program is to support social, economic, and territorial development of the cross-border region through implementation of joint project and activities.
IPA project titled “Implementation of cross-border joint actions toward environment protection in agriculture” was initiated within the scope of the abovementioned cross-border program in 2017.
Cross-border IPA project includes the following participants:
1. Faculty of Agriculture Osijek – Croatia (Project Coordinator-Lead beneficiary),
2. Educons Novi Sad – Serbia (Partner),
3. Craft – Industrial School Županja – Croatia (Partner),
4. Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops Novi Sad – Serbia (Partner – Vegetable Crops Department).
Focus groups of the project are local public, small and medium-sized businesses, registered farms, farmers, agricultural producers, educational and research institutions.
The main project aim is to set up a knowledge platform regarding the effects of sustainable agriculture on environment protection and quality of life, to establish a system of monitoring soil quality, water quality and management of hazardous substances, as well as monitoring agricultural production (cereals, vegetable crops, livestock breeding – especially beef cattle breeding).
